Julius and Ann Scott established The Ann and Julius Scott Charity at the Community Foundation in 2001. "The Community Foundation was the perfect instrument for our giving," said Julius, "It provides support and a wealth of knowledge of the community that is extremely beneficial." Their giving supports many local and national nonprofits from the MLK Center for Nonviolent Social Change to the many colleges and universities that played a large role in their lives. Ann and Julius have established a deep relationship with our community and see the philanthropic spirit all around. "We've been so blessed it's almost impossible not to pass it on," said Anne.
