The Community Foundation’s grant programs reflect our desire to be innovative, inclusive and responsive to the needs of the area. Our grants include those that are open to nonprofit application and those that originate at a donor’s request. Here is a snapshot of our grant programs:

Grants Outside of the Application Process
- Advised Grants
These grants are awarded at the recommendation of advised fund donors. Most support the general operations or standard programs of a nonprofit. The grants rarely involve a competitive process. It is more likely that a donor is aware of the good work of a nonprofit and recommends supporting it.
