Donor Stories

We are frequently asked by friends and neighbors, members of the media, and acquaintances, to explain the community foundation

So, how do we tell our story?  By telling stories.  Since 1994, the Community Foundation of the Lowcountry and its affiliate, the Hilton Head Island Foundation, have awarded more than $17 million to nonprofits serving the Lowcountry and beyond.  We have worked with more than 150 individuals, families, nonprofit organizations, and businesses to establish charitable funds.  One hundred and fifty funds, more than 1,600 donors, and more than $17 million in grants add up to a lot of stories.
