Food Bank Ministry

On Tuesdays we give out food to anyone in need. We do this between 9:30 and 11:30 am. The only requirement is to show up and sign your name. Six months ago we had 75 - 85 attendees per week. During the last five weeks, we have averaged in excess of 130 attendees, and one week we had over 150. Second Helpings delivers food to us on Mondays, and Parishioners bring in canned goods on a regular basis. We also receive some money from Parishioners. Our ability to buy rice and canned goods to make sure we have enough is always in need. Our request is to supplement our supplies to meet the growing need in the community.

Why this connection makes a difference:
As economic times have gotten bleaker, our numbers have grown We know there are families depending on us to feed their children. Because we require only that you have a need, we believe that we are making a difference in Bluffton.

Cost: Any money received would be a blessing.
