Grants Information Sessions

Grants Information Sessions provide an opportunity for organizations with programs in our service area to learn about the Community Foundation and its grantmaking initiatives. The sessions include a review of the eligibility requirements, funding priorities, as well as limitations and exclusions.

Attendance at a Grants Information Session is required within the 12 months prior to application and there are three grant request deadlines each year – January 15, May 15 and September 15. The grant application process typically takes several months, so we courage organizations to plan accordingly. 

Grant Information Sessions are held approximately every two months on Thursdays from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. at Community Foundation of the Lowcountry’s offices on Hilton Head Island.
