Community Foundation Scholarships
Apply for a Community Foundation Scholarship
Guidelines for the scholarship funds managed by the Community Foundation of the Lowcountry, including the specific eligibility criteria, application process and submission deadline dates, can be reviewed on the individual listings.
Most of these scholarships use the Community Foundation’s eGrant system, an online electronic application which can be accessed here or through the link within the guidelines. Others may have a specific application form which will be noted in the guidelines. Submit your application for any of these scholarships by following this three-step process:
- Review Scholarship Guidelines - review each listing to learn more about the scholarship requirements.
- Submit Your Scholarship Applications – Click on the online electronic application through the eGrant.net system on this website, which can be accessed here or through the link within each of the scholarship guidelines. Refer to the scholarship application guidelines for those scholarships which may have a specific application form and are not on the eGrant system. Please note: When you enter the eGrant system for the first time you will be asked to create an account to establish a user login and password.
- Upload Required Attachments – be sure to upload the attachments required with each scholarship submission as noted within the scholarship guidelines and within the eGrant application, including the Financial Need Form [Doc]. If you have been invited to re-apply for a previously awarded scholarship, you may be asked to fill out the Financial Need Form for Re-Applicants [Doc]. PLEASE NOTE: All James L. Krum Memorial Scholarship and Joan & Wade Webster Scholarship applicants and re-applicants must complete the Financial Need Extended Form [DOC].
